Stampscape Scenes

I finally sat down an put together a couple of Stampscape Scenes. I really love the stamps so far, but there is still a lot I have to learn about making the scenes seamless. One of these I turned into an ATC because I didn't like how the seam was between two stamped areas. I believe that I now can figure out how this works, and had better success with the second scene.

This is the ATC done on Glossy Paper. I used Stazon black for the images, and Stampin' Up blue multi-pad for the blue, and Artichoke for te green. I used a gel pen white for the highlights.

I really like how this one came together. I used my Marvy Markers to do the details, and a blender and Stampin' Up inks for the water and sky. I used Sandy Hulsart's method for making clouds for the first time, and found it to be a wonderful technique which was easy for a beginner.

Well a tough week over for me. Too long too, much to do. I have work a little on a couple of projects, and would like to share. I'm looking forward to working on some new things for this weekend. Going to try some more Cornish Heritage Farms, Thomas Kinkade stamps, and some Stampscapes Scenery projects. I have caught wind of a couple of techniques that I want to try.

At any rate, here are the projects that I worked on.

These are a digital image, that I used Photoshop CS2 to make. I used sever filters and adjustments to get the pinkish orange colore that I used throughout this image. For the fire I used index color and black body colors to acheive the fire look.

First Time Out

This spot is going to be about displaying my art, and other general STUFF. I love mixed media, especially stamps, scrapbooking, and general things of beauty. I also spend a lot of time doing digital art, and sometimes incorporate the digital elements with paper scraping. So here is some of my work.

This is a Stampscapes composition on regular Stampin' Up cardstock, brayered backgroun, and black Stazon ink. The card is cream, and the frame is Copper Metallic from Michael Strong Rubber Stamps.

These are some ATCs that I did for an exchange. The one is Friendly Plastic that I found from a stash I had that is years old, but it is great to stamp into. I have seen it making a comeback here lately. The others are just stamps and other embellishments.

These are some Serendipity Squares that I made for an exchange; and, of course, I had to keep some for myself.

That is it for now.

I hope to see you again.
